The Starwheel Tray Turner presents trays in the correct orientation for downstream processing. Using a servo-driven star wheel, trays are rotated 90 degrees to achieve either short-edge or wide-edge leading.
With capacities of up to 120 trays per minute, it delivers precise and reliable tray turning for high-volume production environments.
The Starwheel Tray Turner is built as a stand-alone solution so it integrates easily into both new and existing production lines. It accommodates a wide range of tray sizes, from very small trays up to 325 × 325 mm (half-gastro), while maintaining full control of the turning process regardless of tray size or shape.
For added operational safety, the machine automatically stops if an object or obstruction enters the star wheel while it is operating, protecting both operators and equipment.
Switching between tray formats couldn't be easier. Simply replace the star wheel with the version matching your tray format, select the appropriate settings, and restart production. This quick and straightforward changeover process minimizes downtime and keeps your line running efficiently.
